Artists Guidelines
Art Royale is about the viewer's interaction with the artist
and their art forms.
This year the artists are invited to interpret and express their relationship
with our theme, "Lost In Translation". Interpretation might be personal,
artistic, cultural, architectural, or esoteric. Artists are encouraged to engage
the
viewer into their installation - as a participant, a captivated observer,
or in a merger with the artist mentally, philosophically, or physically.
We
need artists of all kinds to collaborate with one another. Painters, musicians,
dancers,
fashion designers, mimes, actors, sculptors, chefs, singers, writers, producers,
body artists,
and all who want to experiment with and experience this very special event.

PROPOSALS DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 9, 2008
All submissions
will be reviewed by the Art Royale committee. Artists will be notified of decisions
regarding
acceptance in early July. Further information will be provided at that time.
Every aspect of the exhibit, including
construction and materials must be provided by the artist(s). Art Royale will
provide assistance with installation
and needs such as electricity, water, light, etc. based on the proposed budget,
each installation is eligible for
a $300.00 stipend to assist with expenses.
